Just spoken to sister and best friend. They are both being forcibly sent home from work for safety reasons. This is ridiculous. I'd say call in the army but there aren't any available for immediate mobilisation. Labour has a lot to answer for.

OS wise - flying ongoing, dinner started. Need to do some admin this evening.

The "ganstas" bleat poverty etc , they don't know the meaning of the word (try being poor in the 60's) it is just that they want everything handed to them on a plate and not get off their useless backsides and look for work:mad:

    Or indeed the 1930's

H was sent home thankfully, Brum appears to be gridlocked as everyone leaves from what FB friends have posted. High police presence in my local town which thankfully is approx 10 mins away by car. It's not massively residential where the main shops are but considering the line of work my brother is in I am assuming his information is probably more accurate than twitter ;)

    reverbe - stay safe xxx

DS was sent home from work with the rumour there were looters in the next street (Farringdon). He is home now and hopefully OK.
Reverbe hope it stays quiet by you.

Just to say everyone keep safe.

My DD and BF work in Manchester centre and they were sent home early. Sure enough they have set fire to Miss Selfridges and seems like there are major problems in Salford as well.

Its so scary , I am praying things settle down soon
