Helen, what do you need to earn for next week? we could give you realistic targets all week if we knew.

    x

I'm not sure at the moment.....I haven't Worked out next Week just yet....

Rent is actually paid once a Month - But I like to pay it once a Week because then it feels easier than £520 in one go....But Rent could be pushed as it's not due until the beginning of August...As long as I pay £520 before the beginning of August then that's acceptable to Mum....

Hmmmm...Will have to have a think about that....

Okay....I have pushed Rent to the following Week which means that I now need to make £460 this Week....

I have made £125 so far....Which leaves a Grand Total of £335 to earn this Week....

With 3 Days to earn that it means earning £111 per day...Which is a big ask....but just about doable if I work ridiculous hours....which I guess I'm just going to HAVE to do...

I feel really down now....Thought I was doing so well....But I guess not....I hadn't looked at my Target realistically across the Week!!

I'll Post up next Week's Target either today or tomorrow once i've Worked it out....

Sorry Guys....I keep on screwing up over and over again....But I really AM trying my best here....

Right....I can let this defeat me and beat me and I can just not work for the next 3 days because I'm so busy being depressed....OR I can just work as hard as I can to hit my Target this Week....

I'm NOT going to let this beat me....

Any words of advice will be gratefully received and accepted....

I've got to go out to my Placement now....Will be back later and logging on at 8pm tonight for the Overnight Shift....

    See you all later xXx

Helen, you CAN do it. Just put the hours in week after week after week and it will become second nature. Also, as you said previously, you are due to finish paying off a few loans in the next couple of months so that will make things a little easier to manage hopefully. It is just work unfortunately, and we all have to do it. Chin up. x

If trying your best doesn't involve setting a realistic target then your best really isn't good enough.

The thing is Helen, This is not a one off week, you will have to knuckle down and make this EVERY week until some of your debts are paid off. No-one is saying it will be easy, but at the end of the day, you spent the money, you have to repay it.

It looks like a huge mountain, but you will be chipping bits off it every week, and slowly you will be able to see over the top .. eventually.

We are all still rooting for you, no-one has given up on you .. except yourself sometimes ?
Have you ever tried the snowball calculator on the debts you are repaying ? Might be motivating for you .

Lunch was yuck, I really should make my own sandwiches instead of buying expensive £2.40 ones from the Deli !
Back to the coal-face, Catch up later x:(
Its just a bad day, Not a bad life ..

Someone on here a few days ago said you weren't taking it seriously and they are right. You're not.

There has been endless discussions on here over the last weeks about setting realistic targets, what you need to pay, how many hours you need to work and so on.
And you have ignored all of it.
    Again.

You post lists of things you need to pay but then don't include things you have previously posted. What happened to paying CCS Collect £50 a week? Moorcroft £40 a week? Lowell £40 a week?
What about your current council tax? Gas, electricity, water? Tax and NI?
What about paying back the 4 companies you owe £24700 to?

If you're were taking this seriously you would be budgeting for all of this every single week.

I am aware you get paid different amounts depending on the time of day, length of call etc but you are still getting paid an average of £6 an hour.

So if you need to earn £615 a week than you need to work around 100 hours a week.
    That's it. Simple maths.

Helen, you have been posting the same things since the beginning on MSE over 5 years ago. You appear to have learnt nothing at all.

The last straw for me was reading that despite having nearly £10 in pots and change (and saying you weren't going to spend anything until you got your tax credits on Saturday) you borrowed more money.
Actually, the last straw was reading that you'd spend some of it on a scratchcard.

You want constant input and approval from people reading the diary but then ignore what it being said to you.
You didn't even bother to set a realistic target for this week :wall: despite this being absolutely crucial to you.

You have been saying "But I really AM trying my best here.... " for years.
Do you really believe this is the best you can do? Really?

It gives me no pleasure to say I won't be posting on this diary anymore.
    I wish you well.

Helen, You may feel let down but luckily the three days you have to earn the money you need are your three highest paid days.

You CAN do this! If you're logged on every minute you have spare then you are doing your best.

Although, i did notice the payment to your brother wasn't on there and really needs to be. You did say you'd pay him back when you got paid.

Also, £111 would leave you £2 short AND you still have today to earn some too. You can work when you get in. You can also work Sunday morning and when you are back from your grandmas dinner.

I believe you can do this IF you try and dont give up.

Working on the totals you have put down, i challenge you to a target of £35 tonight, £100 Friday, £100 Saturday and £100 Sunday.

Upsidedown Bear mentioned your other weekly payments. I'm guessing these are the ones you have a holiday from. If this is the case you will need to think about what happens when these need paying again.

When you have a quiet moment on the phones work out what you need to pay each week for the next four weeks and we will sort it out.

If you want, i will help you do a weekly planner, set out which day every single debt gets paid monthly / weekly so you have it as a quick glance guide. From there we can plan for weeks in advanced so on weeks you dont need to earn as much you can earn the extra for other weeks. If you dont want to put all that information on here i will happily work it all out with you via e-mail.

Let me know what you think. I think it will be good having someone know everything and to remind you if you 'forget' something you need to pay. I don't claim to be good with getting people out of debt but i'm exceptional at spreadsheets so i can offer you real help if you'll take it.
