That's how i would see it at least, forgive me if i am wrong. Although i cant offer any alternatives lol.

:rotfl: LoL Well I DO have a little collection...Hoping to get it bigger than it is right now though!!
And thank you....after the last 6 months I really want to be happy now....and start living....0 -
Well I made £5....which is £5 more than I had this morning...So I'm pleased with that....Had to Log Off so that I could eat something as I won't have anything to eat now until nearly Midnight tonight because I'm at College all Evening...
Can't say I'm looking forward to the Journey into College and home again....especially in this Weather with it being so warm...But I'm hoping it will be okay....I'll just get on with it, put my MP3 Player on and just hope that I'm there quickly!!
I plan on Working all night tonight when I get home...Just hope I'm not too tired....but that's the Plan...and I really need to Work if I'm going to stay on Target...and we get paid more at Night so it makes the money go up quicker rather than Working during the day....So can everyone keep your fingers crossed that I won't be too tired to Work when I get home please?? Ta x
Am looking forward to College tonight....after being so ill for the last nearly 2 weeks and barely going anywhere it will be nice to go out and enjoy myself AND learn something AND see my Friends at College....
So....I'll Update again later on when I get home around Midnight....Hope you all have a lovely Evening xXx0 -
Hello
Been having a think and thought I'd share. Feel free to ignore.
Do you know how many hours you need to work to earn £690? Or £500 your new target? You don't need to say but do you know yourself?
The reason I ask is because setting targets is great but they need to be realistic while at the same time challenging you to do just that bit extra. If the target is, truthfully unreachable, then you will fail to meet it so you feel bad.
If your target is reachable and you meet it you'll feel great and that will spur you on to do more next time if you want to.
Having read all the diary recently (and some of your previous threads - see I said I'd stalk you) it seems to me you constantly set yourself up to fail by setting targets that you can't reach. You don't reach them (because it's not possible, not because you've failed) and that makes you feel bad about yourself.
I think you set too many big targets as well. Look at your signature at the moment. You want to save money for a trip to New York and to cover your wages while you're there. You want to save for the October show. You want to save to buy new clothes. You need to pay off your council tax arrears. That adds up to £5770. If you were saving for a years time that is £110.96 each week. £110.96 per week on top of paying the bills, buying food, paying your debts and so on. That's a lot of money. And you're not doing it for a years time - some needs doing asap.
What I'm trying to say is - set yourself a realistic target. For how much you can earn. Or save for something. Anything. Whatever's important to you.
Aspirational goals are fine such as being able to save to visit New York but you need to accept that aspirational may become realistic in the future but may not be at the moment.
If you set realistic targets then you'll be able to achieve them and you know what? You'll feel fantastic. (Trust me on this - I know).
There's nothing wrong with having treats but you must be able to afford them otherwise they will just mean more debt. Have you included them in your budget? Have you done a realistic budget recently?
I've just done a search for floggers - it's amazing what you can buy on fleabay these days :rotfl:0 -
Thank You Upsidedown Bear....You have helped more than you know...
I try and do a realistic Budget but you're right, I DO set myself up to fail....and fail I do...
Perhaps I just need one or two major things to save for this Year....I know I need to save for Christmas....but maybe I should give NYC a miss next Year and the Clothes....and just save for what is THIS Year...like Christmas and the October Show....
I will have a look at my Budget again and see what I think is realistic...rather than my "fantasy"....
Thank you again hun....you may have just given me a bit of a wake-up Call...I'll certainly think HARD about what you have said....xXx0 -
You're very welcome.
