I am doing a weight loss challenge with my gym for May. It involves taking a tablet every day, maybe two if i need it, but i'll be able to let you know how i get on for you starting in June. I have to be measured all over and weighed every 7 days so i'm going to be sad if it doesn't work. One lady tried it for 4 days and lost three pound so hopefully it will work for me!What are you doing to lose weight hun? I'm no good with diets. Most days i struggle to eat so i'm mainly just drinking lots of water and trying to do more than just sit on the sofa lol. Going to be taking my niece to some classes like aqua fit and zumba through may too. This is going to be my month, if i cant lose anything this month i'm tempted to just give upSealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

I always think I'm no good at Diets too Crimson hun....but I DO find that having some structure is good for me....as I don't seem to have any structure at any other time....LoL
I'm going to be joining my local Council Gym....I think it's about £15 a month which isn't too bad....they don't have a Swimming Pool but that's okay....I know of one not too far away that I can go to separately....and I might start going to Salsa again as I used to dance that many years ago and loved it!!
Need to get some Trainers as my last ones completely fell apart!! Also need some Jogging Pants and a T-Shirt so I can go to the Gym in them....
And of course there is also Krav Maga which I hope to start at the end of June....And I think that is supposed to help with Weight Loss as well...
Now it's just about fitting it all in!!
I don't think I told you Guys....but I had a Smear Test in December and it came back with Abnormal Cells...now this does NOT mean I have Cancer....but it's PRE-Cancerous Cells which means they have to get rid of them....So this Friday I'm going for a Procedure called a "LLETZ" Procedure which means they are going to take the Cells off my Cervix....
I'm a bit scared as it means a Local Injection directly into my Cervix....but once that bit is over then the rest should be easy peasy...so I'm not overly worried...
But it really IS something I could do without after the stress of the last 6 months....but hey, just one more thing to conquer!! and I WILL conquer it...
But it's nothing to worry about...Most people don't need repeat treatment....Just another Smear in about 6 months or so which will hopefully come back as clean....
So that's what is happening this Friday....at the moment I'm quite calm about it but might not be come Friday morning!! But I'll be in and out within half an hour....so it won't be that bad I'm sure...
NikNok...you are more than Welcome to start our Weight Loss Journies together!! You can lift the little one above your head and call it weight lifting
Right...off to start Work....0 -
Helen, my gym is not at all conventional, certainly no swimming pool. Its just a circuit with only resistance equipment that takes around 30 minutes to complete. I am still undecided as to if it actually works or not but at the moment i don't have the confidence to go anywhere else. The ladies there are so lovely (no men allowed). Its very tiny too so everyone usually has a good chat whilst working out
I'm sure you will get on fine with yours
I recently found out you are supposed to have a smear test at 25 so am dreading my next birthdaySorry about your op but at least if you go through everything at once you can get over it all quicker
niknok - a friend of mine had a baby (almost a year ago) and we looked at doing baby work outs. Its stuff you can do which involves baby so you can keep them entertained whilst working out. I do some of them even though i am babyless lol.Sealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

Good luck for the procedure, great example of why smears are so important x
Edited to add: is that a gymphobics gyn Crimson? A friend of mine has started going to one and it does sound good, and a lot less scary than a regular gym!0 -
Hey Crimson hun....Your Gym sounds great....I've been to my Council Gym before and it is very small but basically has Treadmills, Bikes, Cross-Trainers and Rowing Machines...so all the stuff for Cardio...which is what i need I think....
Please don't worry about having a Smear Test....I know they can be scary but really it's over and done with in moments....it's mainly the embarrassment that I struggled with when I first had one...but believe me, the Nurses that do it have seen it all!! And having one that takes just a few seconds is worth it if it detects something wrong....which it did with mine...and now I am having it corrected....MUCH better than the alternative!! And if you tell the Nurse it is your first time they will be extra careful with you....so don't worry about it too much hun....
And yes, that's what I thought about having it all done all at the same time....That way I can start to move on with my Life and get on with LIVING!!
Tried to Work but it's soooooooooo quiet so I have logged off to do some other Practical things around my Flat....trying to avoid going out Shopping with £20 that Mum gave me to pay a Debt....she specifically told me not to use it for anything else so I'm keeping it firmly in my Purse until the Debt is paid!!
Catch ya'll later xXx0 -

Absolutely....and thank you for the best wishes....I'm sure it will be fine.
I remember once when I had a HUGE abcess under my arm they put an Injection right into it....and if I can cope with that then I'm SURE I can cope with an Injection into a soft and spongey cervix that is NOT inflamed...
Did that make sense? I think I'm just trying to make myself feel better about the whole thing....I'm sure it will be fine!!0
