I'm here Dragon...don't get worried about me....I'm okay....sort of...
And Robsmum...thank you for pulling my Diary back out....I kept meaning to post in it but haven't had the heart...
I don't have the energy to write much right now but I WILL update soon....AND post my Challenges for this Year, one of which is pretty out there and I'm not sure I can do it...but i'm going to go for it anyway...LoL...I'll let you all know later what it is...
I think the best thing I can say right now is that I'm a survivor...and I'm surviving my Life right now....but I'll get there...0 -

Right....I'm back and finally figured out what I want my Challenges to be in 2012 :T :T :T
Things here are finally looking up.
Healthwise I'm still not great but managing to work my way through it slowly....realising that it's really important for me to simply keep going otherwise I'm never going to achieve what I want to achieve this Year and for Years to come.
Work-wise, things are still tough but I'm getting there and will continue to get there!! I just have to stay determined and things will come good if I just put the Work in!!
Sooooo....below are the dreams that I have for this Year....some are a bit out there....but I'll get there!! I think the Buzzword for this Year is "DETERMINATION".
Love and Hugs, Helen xxx
THE STUFF OF DREAMS FOR 2012
Olympia 2012
Yes, I'm going to "That Exhibition" again this Year. For those of you who don't know what I mean, I don't want to mention the name of it cause it's a little bit risque but I always have fun there...and this Year I am determined (there's that word again!) to save up some money every week towards it.
Total So Far: £0
Emergency Fund
So one of the things I have learned is that things always crop up when you least expect them to!! Sometimes I'm ill or things need paying for and I haven't up until now had the money to pay for them. So this Year I want to save One Week's Wages and I'm calling it my Emergency Fund. A Week's Wages is about £600.
Total So Far: £0
College 4th Year
So thanks to a lovely Friend, my 2nd and 3rd Years at College are taken care of but I have to save up for my 4th and final Year in 2014. This Year I'm aiming for about £1000 towards it although the whole amount for my 4th Year is over £4000 but £1000 will be a good amount towards it.
Total So Far: £0
Wam Bam Club 2013
I really really want to go to the Wam Bam Burlesque Club for a Night Out and I really wanted to do it this Year but simply couldn't afford it. So I'm going to save a small amount each Week to be able to afford it in January or Febuary next Year with a Friend. It usually costs around £150 for two people for a Meal and the Show, so that's what I'm aiming for.
Total So Far: £0
Lose 112 Pounds In 2012
Okay, so this one is a bit out there but I'm going to go for it anyway. I have a HUGE amount to lose, about 10 stones but I thought since it's 2012 that I would go for 112 pounds in 2012. That works out to about 8 stones and also works out at about 2.5 pounds a week which I think is achievable if I stick to it!!

Most of your goals look achievable, I am a little worried about the weight one though, bearing in mind your health! That is a lot to attempt to lose and you might find your health throws that out.Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Hi Helen. Your goals look good but would second the post about weight loss. Just go for what you can achieve. A health and balanced diet and the weight will start to come off and hopefully as it does so your health will start to improve. Keep at it.Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Thanks Beccie....I must admit I'm feeling rather positive...
Thanks Dragon....I know it's a lot to lose in a Year but since I am soooooo overweight I think I can do it....We'll see....Even if I can shift an awful lot of that weight it would be good....might even save my Life.
I'm back at College tonight after 2 months Break...and I CANNOT WAIT!!!! Going to College reminds me that I won't be working on a Chatline for the rest of my Life....There will be a decent Life for me eventually....Just takes lots of Work...0 -
Well it's Thursday today....and I'm feeling really positive...which makes a nice change
I think I've finally got it into my head that although my Job is not ideal, it IS the Job I have for now...I am working to get out of it but I HAVE to make this Job work for me....
So I've now got that into my head which means I can make this Job work for me...and hopefully get some money behind me rather than constantly trying to earn extra money and failing miserably!!
This time I CAN and WILL do it!! :T :T :T
So I'm currently Working this afternoon....from 3pm until 7pm and then Working again tonight....and for once I'm not completely dreading it....I'm actually looking forward to Working and seeing my money grow and grow each time I log on...
So, feeling really positive...and I AM going to make positive changes in my Life and make them stick this time!!
Love and Hugs, Helen xxx0 -
