It is scandalous that the petrol companies are yet again fleecing the public. Oil prices today 10/08/11 are now $82 a barrel thats a @40 dollar drop in cost to them and what do they do hack 2p off.

    Errr not quite.
Brent Crude (Highest Quality) is at $108 a barrel and was just on $118. which is a drop of $10 / barrel
WTI Crude (Lowest Quality) is at $85 a barrel and maxed at $100 a barrel which is a drop of $15 / barrel.
    Prices taken from http://www.oil-price.net/

RE: the oil companies fleecing the public? I think it's a bit closer to home than that. Do you realise how much the government get of your £1.32 / litre?

It is also introducing a cap of 132.7p per litre for unleaded and 136.7p per litre for diesel at all its filling stations.
It's nice to see the cap working. Diesel at my local ASDA went from 135.9p to 136.9p! So much for a 2p drop.

Maintained and paid for by your local county council without, may I add, any help from central government funds. So I already pay for that through my council tax.
    Next please.

    Defence of our borders.
If you think of it as 'us' verses 'them', then it's probably your side that are the villains.
