Loads of talking going on here. FIL is looking KH to move back here and for rules to be set. They know they need him for the help and there worried he won't last long on his own. I've said he needs proper help but he might not want it. So not sure how things will work out.

Vanilla~~ imo for what it is worth, your KH does not move back any where near you / kids until he has had professional help and is able to prove he is clean / stable / what ever.
Is there a half way house he could go to? or a farmer workers type house (if they still have them?) or some where that could be converted for him, you have been very brave and made your stand against KH, whilst I can understand PIL needing help with the cattle, YOU also need a stable life / setting for your kids. xx

Just pottering today, nothing major needs doing. Out on the lash with OH tonight :j so am staying over at his house so need to find the memory foam mattress that's in the shed for my bed round there......we must be getting old cos we both like our own beds, but we push them together Also need to make sure I've got all the make-up I need (been so long since I've worn any I can't remember) and sort out what I'm going to wear.

Gonna have a pootle in the kitchen and LR and make brew number 3.

Triker - hugs and coping vibes to your DD and her boyfriend. I hate the atmosphere in York of a night-time - I feel downright intimidated in town after about 9pm!

DD2 dispatched on holiday with a mates family to Weymouth. She spent all last night saying she didn't want to go - fairly typical! You'd have thought she was going to the scaffold this morning! Fingers crossed she has a good time!

DD2 and her mate are 17, the next oldest sister is 11 - so I am convinced that they will be given some freedom......

B-i-L and his OH arrived in York last night and have brought a load of stuff from grandads house :eek::( - as fast as I declutter more carp arrives...... Today OH is playing cricket, B-i-L is going to see West Ham at Doncaster and his OH is going shopping. DS was supposed to be cricketing but has injured his thumb again....but a mate has just offered him a lift and ticket to the West Ham game so peace and quiet for me and DD1!

I will shoot in to town to book cinema tickets - DD1 is meeting another mate (one with ME) to go and see Harry Potter AGAIN - I get to go too - 4th time for me - 5th for DD1. Can't wait!

Tomorrow B-i-l wants to take DD1 out for lunch - Oh and are going too - Slug and Lettuce has been suggested (I know I can fit it in with Slimming World).

The rest of today will be ironing......where does it come from?

Made some toast and let Lily in who promptly went back out again! Pottered in the kitchen. *yawns*

Morning all

I have put out furry visitor in the run with his nuggets, water bottle, kale and carrot shavings. I've put the run partly on the patio and partly on the grass and he seems to like the patio bit best (it will help keep his claws down;))

one load of washing out, another load in. Am waiting for the Vallikids to finish with the bathroom - I will complete the rubbing down today and hope to get a coat of paint on the ceiling.
