It was David Cameron who wanted to hug a hoodie....If you keep doing what you've always done - you will keep getting what you've always got.0 -

Shoot on sight in my opinion. Every scumbag in London is on the streets, fish in a barrel. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I live in Peckham. Got back into the area about 6pm to find pretty much every shop in Rye Lane (the main shopping thoroughfare) putting its shutters down and closing, plus groups of young men in hoodies walking towards the centre of the town.
After going to the gym, I got back to mine to see a big cloud of smoke (coming from the shop that's burning down) and a fair amount of people about - however not that many young ones around and most appeared to be heading home. Fortunately - compared to Hackney and Lewisham it seems - it has (touch wood) been not too bad here.0 -
Is it Labour who is threatening to sack so many police men? Is it Labour that is making these police men who are in North London tonight apply to keep their own jobs?
No it's the useless Tories.
Laura I can speak about my locality more accurately than naitionaly but I can say with 100% accuracy that it was Nu-Labour who introduced opening hours of 9-5 for Police stations so nearly all crime happends after 5pm.The Rother District covers approx 512 km sq and at night there are 2 Police cars covering the entire area.If you phone 999 (put through to Lewes which is the County Town)and report an intruder in your house the Police don't even know where our Town is (population of 4,500). If your lucky, very lucky they will turn up the same night.
You may or may not of heard about a 21yr old girl from Sussex who was murdered in Poland recently. Her parents run a shop about 5 miles from us and whilst they were in Krackow (Poland) last week their shop was burgled ,the CCTV has film of the intruder but when reported to Police they are supposedly coming round tomorrow(5 days after the incident)
The first case I mentioned happend 5 years ago, the 2nd was last week. I say again rise above the politics and you may be taken seriously.0 -
