sorry you feel you can't post coupons anymore CM but i don't see why. no one has been rude to you . thats one thing most people seemed to have taken notice off at least.
but i must add it wasn't me who changed the thread or feel. this was already happening before i took over the thread.some chatter is ok but sometimes it gets really bogged down.
yes the old way before split was great but there are loads more using and posting in this thread now and it is bound to change a little.couponmummy wrote: »I am with you all here and have contributed quite a few coupons to this thread but refuse to post anymore coupon finds on here as this is not a friendly thread anymore. When the poll was taken it was said this would be kept as coupons and chat rather than coupons and a separate thread for chat. so why we are not allowed to chat anymore is beyond me. MT you are doing a great job on updating and doing the shopping lists but please allow the thread to go back to how it used to be.
Until this happens I will remain a lurker0 -
Evening all - yikes, looks like I've missed some errr...interesting musings while out couponing this evening.Hi Everyone
I am new to vouchers/coupons, but have been taking tips and printing MOC (is that right?) lol. Well used some vouchers for the first time today (felt really nervous, lol) and saved just over £6 on my shop! very proud of myself today....my OH thinks I am mad...hehe.
Thanks for the tips, advice and links everyone
Helen
Welcome to the world of coupons Helen, I'm quite new myself so haven't had a chance to give any great finds back to this thread yet, but do try and keep an eye out for complimentary deals. My OH thought I was nuts too, until he heard about some of the savings I've made
I see there's lots of chat about the apple lady. Benefit of the doubt she might have been baking apple pies for the local estate, however, in my experience in Mr M, I have seen near physical fights break out over two reduced cakes at closing time on a Sunday - I mean seriously? we all like a bargain but yelling at each other over a custard slice?!
Anyway, not to ramble, MT you're doing a fab job on this thread, I wasn't part of 'the way it was before' but I can apprecaite how hard it is trying to keep up and please everyone :A
successful coupon bust tonight in Mr T - about £40 down to under a tenner (ie less than the three boxes of cat food I bought would have been :j) The poor SA nearly had a coronary when she saw my coupons and had to call over a supervisor. I did realise it was the same SA I hit last week with my couponsanyway, despite having my Mr A price check rejected (decided not to fuss as it was 'only 55p) and a spam as it didn't scan (just got them to void the spam) I was well chuffed. Topped off with a bit of wombling.
Thanks for the list MT, I nearly bought Mccain Hash Browns in Mr T but stopped at Mr A (where I also got my free spam) as they were cheaper.
Just one question, not sure if anyone knows this and I forgot to look in Mr A. On your list MT, it says Triple Velevet 12pk for £3.50 in Mr A - but online this shows as a 9pk. Is the Mr A one a 12 pack (same as Ic*land 9+3 free) or should your list read 9? Just planning the next restock
Sorry for rambling. Nite all xx
ps I have now dreamt of coupons for the past 3 nights...is it time to seek help?:o:o

sorry but what has apples got to do with the war on terror and terrorist.
are are soldiers now fighting people who bulk buy apples.
posts like this are why people feel the friendliness is no longer in this thread and stay away.
PLEASE all keep things polite if you can't don't post and hold your tongueno_choice_now wrote: »Taking 30 bags of apples that happened to be on offer isn't a lifestyle, life situation or life plan. It's being greedy plain and simple.
Being greedy is one thing but being unreasonably greedy is quite another (if you took the time to read my post you would see I said I would of asked to have some first, then questioned why she needs so many if she said no) - and then I would definitely slag off anybody who was being greedy for the sake of being greedy.
Lest not forget gluttony is, according to many, equal to the worst sins like stealing, murder and adultery. If you support gluttony then by default you support stealing, murder and adultery. Therefore if you support this woman's actions you're clearly supporting terrorism. You're either with the war on terror or against the war on terror; and if you support a terrorist that too makes you a terrorist.
What do you have to say for yourself now?:p
