    Good morning everyone

And this post is not aimed at just one person, but everyone.

All I can say is I have just read the last few pages of this thread and I am disgusted at some of you.

You winge over a lady getting loads of apples. What she was doing with them is her business, keep your nose out and stop moaning. Your only jealous.

You complain there is no chat on this thread, yet you ramble on over a load of rubbish that no one wants to read.

You complain over nothing, one minute you moan there is too much chat, and then not enough.

You complain you don't feel you can post coupons or post on the drivel thread.

Can everyone please stop moaning all the time. You lot are so grumpy.

For the ones that aren't grumpty, hi, have a nice day.

    CWxx

maybe as you have just done we are just posting our views.
Live for today, for tomorrow is promised to no-one.

never complain about growing old,far too many people have been denied that privilege.

    Morning all.

I was the OP who posted about the lady having lots of apples. It was part of a post about my shop using MOC's and getting whoopsies too.
We do not know what her circumstances were and I would not ask for any of them as good luck to her, she was there before me. As a matter of interest, she did have about 6 young children with her, so maybe she was going to give them all fresh apple juice, but it doesn't matter what she was doing with them.

Can we now as MT has previously requested forget all about this and get back to couponing or we could end up having this thread closed as we are going too much off topic. I am sure none of us want this to happen.

Just to reiterate MT does a great job of keeping this thread up to date and doing her best to keep it on track so can we all help her please.

Ta for this, I will put mine through seperate so it does not ruin any receipts.

(Incidentally, sorry mods this is O/T. The 1st thing I do when I go into Asda is to put 8 cheap low price Asda smart price things (their own value brands) in the trolley eg packet custard, tin beans, tin ravioli, tin fruit etc. This way I know I have the 8 needed before I start on my actual list, it just makes the difference up if something does not compare)

Not technically coupon related and I don't have an Asda (Not close enough to bother - Have I mentioned this before :mad:) but the APG states - 'In order for your shopping to be eligible for the Asda Price Guarantee, you need to have bought at least 8 different items, of which at least 1 should be comparable to the above competitors.' - So as I understand it you don't need to buy any more than 8 different items so buying cheap SP items that you don't actually want/need seems pointless so no need to worry if one that you are buying doesn't compare as long as you buy the minimum 8 different items
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

mhoc, or anyone using morries, do the PG coupons scan on the s/s check-outs??

In our store I always use the SS machines (its very sad but I like to put coins along the coin conver belt!) but when you press the MOC buttton the SSS has to come along and manually scan them in for you, bit for a pain but so far I've had no problems.

I always worry incase an uppity SSS says you cant use an MOC on an item that is already on offer/reduced/half price or whatever. If this ever happened I would just take out whatever was the offending item from the bottom of my carriers and get them to take the item off the bill.

I used one of these the other day at a SS till in Morrisons but it didn't work, had to call SA over but no problem, in fact she was very pleasant about it. :j

It has to be 8 items though and usually I go into Asda to buy just a few things to use MOCS up plus to get a APG voucher. The smart price items I buy are usually very cheap like the custard sachets and as I have a teenager very little is not needed!

Incidentally we could do with a Schloer print off MOC - a very long time since we have had one. I did get a booklet from the free newpaper stand at Sainsburys called Mums summer survival guide and inside is a 50p Schloer MOC. Sadly when we went back next day thye were all gone and never seen again. And now Schloer is on BOGOF at Tesco for £1.78 (or £4 in Asda for 2 different bottles so a good one if you are trying to get an APG)

    Sorry going off topic again.

Thanks for the morries s/s tills advice. I've only used the coupons on Sainsburys s/s tills and they are hit and miss whether they go through.
I would also get an item taken off the bill if it was an item I bought and had a voucher for, in fact I would probably get the whole bill cancelled and look for a nice young lad on an ordinary check-out and re-do. :D

See how it goes later. lol
