Hi Everyone
I am new to vouchers/coupons, but have been taking tips and printing MOC (is that right?) lol. Well used some vouchers for the first time today (felt really nervous, lol) and saved just over £6 on my shop! very proud of myself today....my OH thinks I am mad...hehe.
Thanks for the tips, advice and links everyone

Ta for this, really annoyed with myself for not spotting this before, really should pay more attention.
I only got one print is this right? I pressed the "frozen poage" button but nothing happened.
If I click on the link tommorow can I get another MOC?
Tesco have it on offer 2 for £1.80 so I might put it on my Asda list to get an APG.
Its only £1.01 in Sainsburys but it will be very difficult to get a list whereby all eight items are cheaper in sainsburys
This Water doesn't compare either for an APG or a JTD as not listed on ASDA section of My Supermarket - I've tried both ways. Also it doesn't count as one of your ASDA 8 items as I found out to my cost!0 -
I know I'll get hung for this, but MT I think all this is scaring folk off, this used to be such a friendly easy going forum, now a lot of us are scared to post or just dont bother to share with everyone, and that again goes round to maybe we shouldnt put it on here.:(myalphabetgirls wrote: »How very strange. In fact I was moved to posting similar last night but immediately thought better of it and deleleted my post.
However, Ive this afternoon seen the posts quoted above and felt I too would offer my support. In for a penny...
I completely echo IM post that we are all very grateful for the neat running of the thread and your lists Myrtle are second to none but there is something very regimental about it all these days, reminiscent of those days when you're in your last few years of school and resent being told what to do, say or think by teachers/elders and I mourn the friendly banter of like minded people of the days pre "the useless non-democratic poll", which for me was the straw that broke the camel's back (newbies will probably not know what I mean, apologies). I miss seeing posts from many "old faces" - Byatt, Moneytight, JudeBristol to name just a few - there are many more.
I rarely log on these days, if I do I admit to "read and run" and for the record I do know there is a "drivel" thread but despite preditcted protestations from its posters it is very "cliquey" and unwelcoming.
Anyway, my opinion and mine alone. I will return to lurkdom with my wombling anecdotes.
No offences meant to anyone, just wanted to be heard. x
So nice to see you back MAG!
You are doing a fantastic job MT - I don't think anyone would disagree that you have really added to and developed the thread in a huge way
I do agree with Gill and MAG however that the thread isn't the same as it used to be. I really did look forward to logging on each morning and reading about everyone's lives as well as their MOC finds and experiences. I felt I really knew everyone.
As MAG pointed out the majority DID vote to keep the one thread rather than split it. Just wanted to add my support to those who have posted about this.0 -

I am with you all here and have contributed quite a few coupons to this thread but refuse to post anymore coupon finds on here as this is not a friendly thread anymore. When the poll was taken it was said this would be kept as coupons and chat rather than coupons and a separate thread for chat. so why we are not allowed to chat anymore is beyond me. MT you are doing a great job on updating and doing the shopping lists but please allow the thread to go back to how it used to be.
Until this happens I will remain a lurker0 -
I have been through all of that list from where I found the clearasil and scholl and I don't think there are any more but I may be mistaken and not looking on the right place0

If there is a large amount of something I would never take all of it because I could, I was take only what I want. 30 bags of apples is ridiculous, you would soon get bored of them before eating them all or they would go off before you fancied them.
I certainly know I would have asked for a couple of bags and questioned her about why she needed so many if she refused to share. If she still refused I'd probably follow her around the shop and slag her off until she gave in.Hmm you gonna follow her an slag her off till she gives u a bag!?. Thats rude too. If she wants 30 bags of apples she can have 30 bags of apples.
There is lots of people in morrisons who do this and are kinda rude with it filling trolleys. Asda people are polite but morrisons they push and shive and do just grab anything at all. They grab then maybe put some stuff back but its just that its cheap and ppl grab it and when they get home wonder what the heck they bought it all for :-D
We don't know about other people's lives. We don't know what their intentions are. A pal of mine buys in bulk for soup kitchen. She spends HER money and gives all her wares to charity. Would you slag her off?
I recently bought all the Allison nature friendly off a shelf as I was baking for Macmillan. They have coffee mornings to raise money. They send a nurse to me every week and its my way of saying thank you. If I wouldn't share would you slag me off?
I agree if someone is rude that is not good, but please folks let's not judge so quickly.:TI've saved £518.70 with mocs and CS since 15 May (yes, I am keeping count!):T

I think everyone has made a point of saying how they feel, sorry if anyone else has not yet.
MT has already apologised if she upset anyone, and has agreed to keep going with the thread, her fab lists, and to keep updating first posts.
Can we leave it at that now?
I don't post much anywhere these days as don't have time. I read, lurk or whatever, but am busy trying to make money to clear my debts.
No one is going to be happy all the time. We will always be upsetting someone with something we do.
Now before Browntoa comes along and tells us all of, and closes the thread, let's draw a line, and get coupon hunting!0 -
If we try and keep the general chat to the drivel thread and glitches and coupon posts to here I think we can get a happy medium for all.;)
Think MT has been thoroughly spanked and sat on the naughty step long enough now (plus she has drunk all my Blue stuff I brought to the naughty step:mad::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) so can we drop the subject rather than have loadsa posts discussing it now please :beer:I think everyone has made a point of saying how they feel, sorry if anyone else has not yet.

Being greedy is one thing but being unreasonably greedy is quite another (if you took the time to read my post you would see I said I would of asked to have some first, then questioned why she needs so many if she said no) - and then I would definitely slag off anybody who was being greedy for the sake of being greedy.
Lest not forget gluttony is, according to many, equal to the worst sins like stealing, murder and adultery. If you support gluttony then by default you support stealing, murder and adultery. Therefore if you support this woman's actions you're clearly supporting terrorism. You're either with the war on terror or against the war on terror; and if you support a terrorist that too makes you a terrorist.
What do you have to say for yourself now?:p
Ok I think you not only stepped over the line, you tap danced right over it. All Wendy was saying was there may be more to this than meets the eye. Who are we to judge without knowing all the facts?0
