I'm trying to raise an Enote with ebuyer but cannot find anywhere on their website to do this. Appears the facility has been withdrawn or I'm just not looking hard enough. Any ideas?

By the way, the managing director of ebuyer's address is:

    Mr Mike Naylor (MD)
    ebuyer (UK) Limited,
    201 Woodbourne Road
    Sheffield
    S9 3LR

How on Earth do you know this??
Hope its not his home address...as he might get a few unwelcome visitors!!!

No longer a user, goodbye folks. PLEASE delete my account. Thank you

You seem to take a very, lets say, liberal attitude to ebuyer. They are a ruthless company who are out to make profit, to exact as much profit from the consumer.

A company out to make a profit?? to get as much profit as they can??...never!! i can't believe it - surely all companies do it for the love of it and as a charity case...

OF COURSE THEY ARE OUT TO MAKE A PROFIT - IM SURE SHAREHOLDERS WOULD BE MIGHT PEED OFF IF THE COMPANIES THEY HAD SHARES IN WERE NOT OUT TO MAKE A PROFIT....

A shame ebuyerdotcon isn't around anymore, could have started a new section, still it makes a good read! Reminds me why I don't hold out much hope of them following the law, they never have before:rolleyes: It has some good advice on sorting problems out, just reading through

    Mortgage-free Glee!
eBUYER are looking to appoint a QC Manager - what ever that is? One of the requirements for this position is "have a good general grounding in current legislation and experience of dealing with trading standards."

My bad experience with this company started when I bought a DVD Writer from them. Back then, they were expensive (£200?)
They sent it in a plain box, OEM with no packing at all. No foam, no bubble wrap, just the drive in a box 4 x taller than the drive itself (lots of fresh air)

It bounced around in the back of a van for 4 days (City Link GRRRR!)
They left me a card to say 'pick up from depot' (30 mile journey).
Went to collect and it was put back on the van.. 4 times!
Chased it around for these 4 days.

Took a day off work to recieve it and it was smashed up because of the poor packing. Had to send it back and take another day off work to recieve the replacement. A complete farce.

For my first post, I would like to add my two cents worth:

On the ebuyer.com website is a section for First Time Visitors which contains a FAQ section. The first question was:

I looked at a product a few moments ago, when I went back in to double check the availability the price had increased. Why has this happened?

    A. All of our prices and stock availability information is displayed in real time, therefore whenever there is a price change the new information is immediately reflected to our website. Our system has been written in this way so that we can provide you with the correct information prior to you purchasing.

So, are they saying £33 for the telly was the correct price?!
