To be honest... it was clear it was a massive pricing mistake from the minute it was posted...
Tesco, Vauxhall, Amazon to name a few ... have all got out of huge pricing mistakes in the past and so will eBuyer in the "genuine mistake" that you took your "chance" on...
Best you can hope for is a voucher or two by way of compensationStephen
"You are not your bank account, You are not the clothes you wear, You are not the contents of your wallet"0 -
Hey , you've gotta try.
About time they had a bit of a headache considering how badly they have treated their customers. (including myself)
This is far more advanced than most 'Genuine Errors'. The way they have handled it and their stupid T&C just dig them a deeper hole.
You might have thought the price was genuine. I know of another manufaturer that has been selling off £1200 TV's at just £450 to clear old stock....0 -

Well Ebuyers slogan for this TV was
"Less than 330 Pounds Inc VAT will buy you this amazing BARGAIN!!!!!!!"
quite clearly it won't so they are guilty of false advertising if nothing else!.0 -
I know i'm not very hot at maths, but £32.99 is less that £330...
So how could I have misundersood the advert. Even their claim was true!
It was an amazing BARGAIN!!!!!!! :rolleyes:0 -
