A typo, so when it came up the total ammount due you never thought it was a bit odd that it should come to around £80 but had in fact come to over £700.

If you have ever tried to get one of this offers before from here you would know how fast you have to just click away on all the options etc to purchase etc or you lose out.You don't get time to look properly until you get the emails or they sell out and you miss out ;)

Ive tried for the fututama and lord of the rings dvd's, I can not see how you can press 2 and a 0 and not know what you are doing.

Well if they do go through at a higher price then they are taking monies without consent and that is fraud. Secondly those that have an email stating that the order has reverted back to quote due to a billing error means that the Company cannot argue that it is an obvious pricing error which was rectified at the earliest opportunity - as I think they was some recent case law which set a precedent on making the Contract void.

Wonder if they will let those who ordered only 1 have them cos that way I am sure it will discount the no of disgruntled customers by 90%.

Someone suggested that say for example ebuyer went through today, all our money would go with it! so that's £40 of mine and £740 of yours! :)

By saying that do you mean go under (Bankrupt?)
I doubt it very much but at least i am covered with my card anyway :)

If you look at the right of your keyboard to where the numbers are i pressed the 2 there and must of pressed the 0 at the same time with my haste to get the order through.(just like you put 2 m's in amount on your reply here in one of your posts and that was under no pressure of speed etc )
Sorry i am not the best of typers.

So what are you going to do with the other 18 if your order is successful?

Not being critical one way or the other - just wondering!

Shame, I'd happily pay money to see all the greedy people like you get screwed!

For a start, you had to have known what you were doing so stop lying and saying that it was a mistake!
If you were a Moneysaver, you wouldn't have that much money in a current account as it doesn't gain interest so you've probably transferred it there! Anyway you'd have read the confirmation e-mails and if you had any integrity you'd have cancelled and re-ordered one! Thought you could get a bargain and sell them on ebay no doubt!

At least be honest and admit that you're greedy! the mistake thing just doesn't wash!

Interestingly the TV is now back on the site but priced at £322.97 and I've taken a screengrap for later reference.

    http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?rb=5824820756&action=c2hvd3N1YmNhdGVnb3J5X3BhZ2U=&subcat_uid=889

I cannot see how they can seriously say pricing error now. If they'd have missed a zero off it would have been showing as £280 now not £322, this looks like it could be very much like the gamecube again. Where tesco had it up for £29, people rushed in for one, they told those people it had been discontinued. Then they re-priced it up at £80 and put it back on the site.

For the prices to have beeen updated today, I think we might get to know a little more from ebuyer about what their plan is with regards to this.
