What happens is the orders go through to Samsung who will pick up on the strange amount of orders being placed, they will probably contact Ebuyer about it, but also either send them all out or as many as they can.
Samsung at the end of the day will still get paid what they are owed which would mean Ebuyer have to cough up the cost and no doubt make a huge loss. If/When samsung contact ebuyer, they will tell them about the strange number of orders, and ebuyer will tell samsung to stop sending.
That's usually how it works when their are errors with catalouge's.
Samsung will send as many as possible out so they can make money.0 -

Dear Sir / Madam,
Your order has been converted back into a quote.
If this occured without your consent then it will be due to one of the
following reasons:
1)Incorrect billing details.
2)Items on the order are now discontinued and need
cancelling/replacing.
3)Shipping method has been incorrectly chosen.
4) Payment declined
5) Someone else's card has been used
6) Incorrect card details
If you still require the order then you will need to replace it.
(Your quote can be found in the 'Account' section of the website)
Please accept our sincerest apologies for any annoyance and frustration
caused by this unfortunate
situation.
Regards,
Ebuyer Customer Support. You cant take the trousers off an elephant!0 -

Can I ask what time you ordered? Just wondering if we're all going to get this or if at the moment it's just the ones that were ordered last?0 -
I got the "converted back to quote" email.
Does this mean the money is refunded?
Has anybody checked?0 -
The other possibility is that Samsung themselves control the pricing.
Just like the Nintendo Game Pack from Woolworths etc was an error by the
suppler. Samsung themselves may be to blame and ebuyer are just a 'shop window' for the sales.0 -
How can it be incorrect billings details if they have already taken payment. Anyway if they responded by saying it is a pricing error - the Courts are more likely to look favourably on their case - but offering other excuses rather suggests that it is clearly not a pricing error. Hold on to that email cos the timing of it may be very relevant to us all. In essense they have had more than enough time to assess the situation and take appropriate action.
Remember Woolies and the Sagem phones - well they failed to act within a reasonable time and they had more of a case as they had not taken payment. Although I believe most of these Companies do not actually want the "grey area" surrounding internet purchases to be tested in Court.0 -
