piratess wrote:Hi thanks for your replies! it is a party of 5 myself partner and 3 children one under 3 ... does this count for any discounts? or is it only at certain parks?
Has anyone been to Carmarthen Bay (hoseasons park) just to say its not Hoseasons its Parks Holidays! just wondering what its like there xx thanks again
Hiya, The park your going to is about 14 miles from me in a very small town (Kidwelly). Kidwelly castle is a walk away, also Pembrey country park is lovely.
If you fancy a drive, Mumbles in swansea is about 25 miles (I think:rolleyes: ).
Have a search on the web to make sure you don't miss out on anything;)

Already been on mine! Just got back from Butlins Minehead - had a fab time - the kids love it. Accomodation was not up to much, but we knew that before we got there. Last time we stayed we got a free upgrade, but no luck this time. Total for 2 adults, 2 kids, and one baby was £105 so Ithink we saved a bit on the website price, but have stayed at Haven before and though that we could have got a better deal direct.0

pingu this is correct... the only one you can get out of is the linen but you get that refunded anyway
when i booked last oct this is what increaced my price too... it worked out as £140.00 (ish) for two of us... this year i went direct through haven got a gold caravan for £116.00 as i wasnt paying the extra charge for the 2 missing person... also the linen is already on the beds but when you take it back at the end of your stay you get £10 back... so the holiday cost £106.00 ~ bargain :rotfl:0 -

You don't need 4 entertainment passes only 3. I was allowed to cancel one of mine when paying.
There was two charges for linen on my invoice, one was a £10 charge and the other was a refundable £10 deposit. I cancelled both and will just taek some bedding.
My site is a Haven site so there maybe a difference with Cayton Bay being a Park Resorts site.
Stopped at Cayton Bay last year, but rented a caravan privately which was lovely so don't know about the accomodation but the rest of the site is clean and tidy the entertainment was good and the swimming pool was nice although the changing facilities could do with modernising. There is an indoor soft play area for the kids if the weather isn't great which ours loved. Site is only a couple of miles from Scarboroughto the North and within 30 mins of Filey and Bridlington to the South.
We would certainly go back again.

I am also going to Cayton bay. When you going?
Anyway there is just the 3 of us too so we only paid for 3 ent passes and 3 lots of linen. If you tell them there is only 3 of you when you ring to pay the balance then they will change it for you.
We went past Cayton bay a few times when we were on holiday in Filey and it looks great.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
