It's reputed to be the least used train station in Wales but I'm still not sure if I'd want to live there.

I wonder whether they'd do request stops to pick up my ebay parcels. If so, I'm in.They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

That's a beautiful area.
The station is Roman Bridge Railway Station and was the least used Railway station in 2006, however usage has been increasing in recent years.
The most recent estimates put it at about 700 stops per year which I guess is a few per day at peak times and rarely any on low season. Looking at a map the track runs through the station and then ends further down, so it looks like the only reason a train would ever pass through that station is to stop there, which indicates there is not going to be passing trains all day like most tracks.
If you can deal with a train or two a day it seems perfect. Personally I think living there would be great.
edit nevermind I was wrong, searched around and found this article that says:In 2012, just 936 passengers used the station, making Roman Bridge Station the third quietest station in the whole of Wales. Just 12 services run through the station each day, travelling between Blaenau Ffestiniog and Llandudno Junction.0 -
Got to be one of the most tasteless houses I've seen in a long while!
Olias
Agreed here, it's absolutely horrible. My house is huge, with a garden at least twice the size of this one, and is worth a damn sight less! We do, however, have some taste!
Now my house is off the market, I'm back!💙💛 💔0 -

It looks to me as if it is a holiday rental. I imagine it would appeal to someone wanting to rent it out for the "novelty" factor.0 -

A fine example of 'modernising' a fine old building by stripping all the character out of it. I know some people like this sort of thing, but I've never understood why you would buy an 18th century cottage if you're going to make it indistinguishable from any modern house
I hate houses where 90% of the decor is white! Makes me feel cold.0 -
