I think most of these are a project!

But I was particularly struck by the Pluckley cottage's estate agent spiel (poorly written altogether) : ...ideal for someone wanting a property "that needs work and care. It has a number of different directions and options for development. Why buy a brand new home when you can restore a brilliant home like this?"

We lived in Southsea for many years - in fact I grew up there - and for about five years lived the other side of Waverley Road (Lawrence Rd) in a very nice late Victorian detached house that was unfortunately positioned adjacent to a busy junction with traffic lights & a bus stop right outside our front garden, so we know that house very well. I believe the house CCP posted was converted to flats a few years back - we moved from our house in 1997 and don't get to go back that often, but there are one or two other similarly gothic type properties nearby
