What's that blue piece of fabric half covering the window in pic 3 all about? Esp when there's a blind behind it!
Maybe some variant on "We'll have more in the way of window coverings than we would choose to - because other people can see in". At a guess, the neighbours (or passersby) might be able to see in the kitchen window and it could be that, when the light is on, the blind isnt sufficient on its own to prevent someone outside being able to see in?0 -

I admit I normally have a secret love for baroque interiors, but dear Lord, that's horrible. Those ceilings!NSD May 1/150 -

Love the white plastic pendants with bare bulbs, did they run out of money for light fittings?0 -

Spent in all of their lighting budget on that awful thing in the awful library. Libraries should be a relaxing retreat. Can't read with that decor!
Noticed the location of this. Plus the combination of the flash car (can see the very edge of it in the far left of the exterior photos), doesn't like its used a lot, tacky furniture, fixtures and fittings - does it belong to a footballer?0 -
Pics 16-18. Do they throw in the booze making equipment? Wouldn't mind my own vintage in the cellar

I bet you could make room for a small vineyard in the garden. Love that cellar. And the exterior of the house is lovely.
I'm not too sure about the creepy little fellow in the living room though. Argh, and I didn't even spot the two by the fireplace. They must be breeding. :eek:NSD May 1/150 -

Photo 5. Is there any need? Or perhaps the EA's favourite artist is August Macke
And the last photo (pic 15), of the ceiling lights, too!
I like the exterior of the house, although the Streetview of the road is not very inspiring. Amazing price, and it has already been reduced by £10k, but I don't know Huddersfield so maybe it it not such a bargain in that area??0 -
My first check-this-out post, whee!

Lovely property (despite the slightly garish carpets), but I'm finding the bed in picture 17 more unnerving the more I look at it. You wouldn't want to risk getting too adventurous in that bedroom, would you?NSD May 1/150
