Here's one I found today. The owners' favourite colours seem to be black, white and bright red. Oh, and their son's called Robbie...

It's not unusual for the area and so close to the notorious Haycombe Drive that I wouldn't look, even at what appears a 'good' price.
People tend not to think that the world Heritage City of Bath has extremes of wealth and deprivation, just like other cities. I'd guess the same is probably true of comparables, like York.0 -

Now that's got me confused. The size of the bathroom tiles (ie large) means its been recently done, yet the suite is rather older.
What a bodge job those tiles are though - and I'm wondering if the whole house has been DIY'ed to that standard and whether that explains that incredibly low price.
For such a bargain basement price - it would be worth a look at it though to check it out. I'm trying to figure out just why its so incredibly cheap. Is that style of house Council housing in Bath? Is there something absolutely appalling to be spotted back behind the house? Only one thing for certain - any neighbours who are going to put their house up for sale soon must be absolutely livid with the owners of this one for putting it up at so much cheaper a price than I would estimate those houses are worth. I'd hazard a guess that I would expect a house like that to be priced at at least £220k.
EDIT: Just spotted Daves comment re a notorious road (Haycombe Drive) nearby. I'll take it that that IS a Council estate then and Haycombe Drive is the worst road in Bath. Just why DO Councils seem to give troublemakers priority over normal people for Council housing these days (okay...okay...I guess they often get more points than other people.....)? We have a road like that in my area and I always expect to see their houses being priced at about £80k less than I would expect equivalent houses to be (though I see some local estate agents are trying to price the odd house there at a nearer to "normal road" price these days and confusing us all....)0 -
