May I suggest this one http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-25900440.html
Quite possibly the most awkward shape to live in, definitely no room to swing a cat and two spiral staircases to contend with!0 -

But, for someone who wants to live in a village, that sounds like a bargain house and no chain presumably either. I'd be checking it out in person if I lived in that area.
However much they "big" it up MN it isn't really a village even if it qualifies technically

The guy whose book they quote used to lecture to me at college. He was knowledgeable and very entertaining, but invariably inebriated.
I remember him taking us up a valley in the Rhineland and pointing out various geographical features, till someone gently showed him we were in the wrong valley. He seemed none too bothered. The valley we were in was the one with the pub at the top! :rotfl:
That was a long time ago when, to be fair, MN was more of a village community, not a Bristol/Bath commuter zone.0 -

I could still find myself living there. It looks very pleasing on the eye.The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.
