Who fits wood flooring in a room like that????

Our house was like that when we moved in - total total wreak; but the floors had been professionally done. According to the neighbours; the people in before the previous occupants had laid the flooring and it just outlasted the rest of the decor.

My dad worked with cars - car parts would often be part of the decor my to my mum's annoyance :rotfl:

All those bottles on the shelf are Avon shower gels and bubble baths and the home is probably one of an Avon rep - sad to say, I know as my own bathroom windowsill looks strangely similar!

The wall lights inside the fireplace are a feature I've not seen before.
