Lovely house though. Really pretty. But Council tax band F at a purchase price of £210K seems steep!!0 -

Also, advertised as a 1 bedroom...somehow another bed has been squeezed in...http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-23355030.html
Whew...see what you mean about that second bed. They really need to get rid of that 2nd bed - as its emphasising the space problems. The other thing that struck me is that I think they need to get rid of the food growing in the backyard. I only have a backyard - rather than a garden - and I've got rid of all the foodgrowing (in pots) from it in order to put this house up for sale soon. The attempted foodgrowing in a space that isn't meant for it shows up "I am not a Proper Home - you haven't got the right set-up to grow food in the normal way" and might make a prospective buyer feel as frustrated with that fact as I do. Much better for it to be just obviously a yard and not even get anyone started down the "But I w...a...n...t a garden. Why haven't I got a garden?" way of thinking and just have it set up as "Well - you don't want outdoor space anyway - but you DO have enough for table/chairs/sit there having a glass of wine" (whilst studiously trying not to count how many neighbouring windows can look into your little yard:cool:).0 -

I think it is the size of the bed. The bedroom itself is 5'8" wide, which probably makes that bed a 5' one, or a 4'6" one with a massive frame, which is ludicrous for a room that size.
My guest room is 5'7" wide but longer. We put a 4' small double in there - it's tight as a double bed but ideal if you need somewhere to put people up overnight. It also functions extremely well as a comfortable bed for one person. When you have a room that small you need to use the space very carefully - I found that a divan had the smallest footprint as otherwise the frame is larger than the matress, though I still had to choose one with the legs inset slightly so the bed didn't have to take account of skirting boards (every cm counts). As a result my room looks much wider and has a clearly defined 'path' down the side of the bed, even though it is an inch narrower. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Someone who works for a wood flooring company? Every house I grew up in was magnolia because that was the colour my Dad always had left over at the end of jobs. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
