I'm guessing that it's another probate sale http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-35661946.html impressive carpets though.
Does the final bullet point mean that the estate agent hasn't seen it all?
That presumably refers to the unlabelled room / space above the bathroom on the first floor. Looks perfect for an ensuite from the floorplans.Note: Unless otherwise stated, my property related posts refer to England & Wales. Please make sure you state if you are discussing Scotland or elsewhere as laws differ.0 -
Yes the description clearly states - two bathrooms. One ensuite and one main.
I often see property details where floorplans don't show actual kitchen or bathroom layouts, or don't show all door openings. A bit irritating I admit but if you can read plans you can usually suss it out.
I think in this case it is fairly obvious that bathrooms and kitchen will be situated to the rear of the property, although it's not obvious whether the kitchen will be behind the lounge on the first floor or behind the dining room on the ground floor. I would hazard a guess on the ground floor, but that still leaves the question about the door opening in to the rear of the first floor.
Either there is a little balcony or terrace perhaps or maybe t's just a mistake on the plans.
I do think that the plans could be much clearer.
I think it's a gorgeous little house, maybe a bit too quirky for mainstream tastes but I would live in a house like that in a heartbeat. I like quirky.
I think they've missed a trick though, you would have thought that a master carpenter would have made some pretty fretwork radiator cabinets to hide ugly modern radiators. Brick fireplace looks a bit crudely finished in places.

Reminds me of a flat we rented in Cairo - 'Louis Farouk' style
In fact, I'd lay odds it's Egyptians who live there.
But I like the combination of over-the-top luxuriousness and fantasy with light colours and space.0 -

Me too, agree on both points.
The carpentry and the leaded lights are lovely, but the brick arch is dog rough.0 -

I literally shuddered at the thought of living in that. It's not exactly cosy, is it?They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0
