The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Been on the market for ages, they keep dropping the price but unsurprisingly no one wants to live in a bunker!
To be fair, I'd live there -it looks nice and big enough but we'll never be able to afford to buy anything unless we move to the outer Hebrides or something!! And live in a shed!! And would you even get a mortgage on a bunker if it's not bricks and mortar??0 -

When a neighbour put their house on the market years ago, an old cat of mine appeared in every out door picture..she obviously decided that she was going to "model!", there were stretching on the shed roof pics, stretching on the fence pics and sitting on car roof pics...every outdoor pic had my cat in it! :rotfl:Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

A lot of the houses we saw (and indeed the one I eventually bought) where probate sales. One we called the "House of Death", because not only did it smell of death, one had the horrible feeling that the previous owner may have left physically, but not spiritually.....
Some case I had the impression that the owner had moved into a home, or was staying with relatives, which had a nicer atmosphere.
On whole most of the houses reminded me of my grandparents house; decorated to a high standard in 1978, maintained to a high standard, but never _updated_.0
