By the looks of it, it is for the use of someone unable to get up the stairs. When I was looking for my house, there was a property I looked at that had made a downstairs wetroom for the same reason.
Either that or previous student property. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

This place has been in the news today. Very sad for the homeowners there.

What a beauty! Love the rubbish bags, suspicious 'urns' and bedroom wall stainage

That's not really a lot. I had 6 lines at one time. Four in my last house. Now I have a twirly because that's what was here when I moved in.0 -

Been on the market for ages, they keep dropping the price but unsurprisingly no one wants to live in a bunker!0 -

From picture 4 it looks like there is a pool table where you might expect a kitchen table to be (picture 3 shows it is far enough out of the kitchen area, so long as you're not trying to play while someone is cooking).
According to propertybee they've only dropped the price once, from £330k to £300k, and that was in January. From the pictures it looks OK, and I can see it suiting someone looking for a large rural home, as long as the outside space is good enough.
I don't think much of the listing itself though. 9 photos for a property that lists 15 rooms? Where is the floor plan? Why are there two different drafts of the descriptive text?Note: Unless otherwise stated, my property related posts refer to England & Wales. Please make sure you state if you are discussing Scotland or elsewhere as laws differ.0 -

It was up at £425k initially.
