My uncle put an arch in his bathroom, but that was back in the 70s and he's since taken it out. Must've been the fashion at the time. It didn't do anything, it was just there for effect. I think it was meant to make it look like a Roman bath or something.

It's a lovely, very well looked after home. Neutral decor and low maintenance garden - someone could move straight in.
