Is there a minimum width a bedroom can actually be classed as a bedroom?
Bed 1 is only 7'4", but bed 2......:eek:
The smallest when I worked at an EA used to be reckoned about 5' - so the width of a single bed, plus the width of a door ie you can open the door/walk down the side of the bed. Anything smaller was a study.
Re. rental properties though, the housing act does specify the minimum bedroom size for a child under 10 is 50sq feet, and for an adult it is 70 sq feet.They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
Those infamous twigs... taking a shower?? (pic 17)

I wouldn't fancy trying to negotiate these stairs after a dram or two!
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-30229150.htmlCome on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -

I work at a holiday park and one of the chalets i clean has got stairs like that, i really hate going up and down them as you've got to make sure you've got the right foot on the right step (or left foot on the left step) :eek:Errrr...come back later0 -
Only read about 20 pages but have been kept very entertained. I may have a few to add from my searches;

Student let so cheating really as it's obviously a tip but pic 5 amused me, double oven anyone?

And this one is inoffensive but what is that garden feature in pic 15? Can't work out if it's old bits dumped or some stylishly arranged object d'art.
I fear i'll have more, spend a fair bit of everyday househunting!0 -

pic 8 - very strange square bath - does not look comfortable! In fact if you look at the floor plan it's a very odd shaped bathroom.
House looks gorgeous from outside though with lots of potential.
I guess someone was thinking of a creative way of having an upstairs bathroom without losing a bedroom, but surely a shower in that space would have been better!0 -

Our local maternity hospital used to have a bath that shape - but it was sunken and had a seat which you stepped on, on your way in. It was really comfy and easy to get in and out of when you were pregnant or had just given birth and you had stitches!0
