Even the blue room carpet could be okay in the right setting. Just not with that wallpaper, those curtains, and that ceiling.
Or carpets that clash with the wallpaper, even though both on their own would be too much:

I like this one, but I'm not sure it's got enough sockets!!! :rotfl:
That one went round the internet and now it's come back. Now, an agent has revealed why the living room had dozens of sockets on its walls.
It's understood the property was built by an "overzealous" builder who had a passion for TV and music.
Joe Prosser, from Andrew Pearce Estate Agents and Surveyors, said the owner had rectified the number of sockets in the home.
Seller Devang Gandhi said the sockets were actually quite handy.
He added: "Wherever you want to stick in the plug, you can stick it in for the TV, DVDs, stereos."

Hmmm. Not convinced by this explanation.
If you are an audio buff, you place the speakers where you want first for room acoustics and comfort in listening- either wired or wireless .
and for TV, there's usually only a few obvious places a screen can go to be viewed in a room, specially a larger screen. eg why have sockets under the window?
You dont go round plugging in a DVD player all over in the same room - etc etc
there are easier and better ways of having a flexible audio/visual system.0 -

How privileged we shall all feel to have the opportunity to buy a more or less average house for the first time since 1966! Bow to the family for providing us this opportunity, because they clearly couldn't be bothered much to look after it.0
