Being listed and in a conservation area, the costs of restoration are going to be high. It will probably end up as a second home or holiday let.

I know it's probably washed away by now, but I really don't like the sound of how it was built:

I mean who'd want rubble after it had been slobbered over, even on Freecycle? Eugh!:eek:

This is why the authorities need to be less trigger happy in designating seemingly anything and everything nowadays as listed. Other than being old, what significance / value / merit does this place bring?! A perfect example of something that would be far better being demolished and rebuilt, but will probably remain a stagnant wreck because of the costs involved in refurbishing in line with restrictions making it unviable for majority of developers.

I'm a sports fan, but without having an actual view of the field and just getting the noise i'd probably hate it.
