I particularly like what appears to be a directors chair set up directly facing the “facilities” - perhaps the owner needed to turn to producing online smut in order to pay the bills...

    I didnt say hygiene?

I think for me it's more attention to detail.
So you wouldn't eat at a restaurant because its owners didn't attend to detail in some aspect of their lives unrelated to cooking?

    OK.

Personally, I'd just try the food after looking for tell tales signs of poor cleaning regimes. The only Indian restaurant within 10 miles of me produces awful, bland mush I wouldn't feed to my chickens. I can't say what their wallpaper's like, but I know they're extremely clean, tidy people, even round in the back yard. Wild horses wouldn't get me to eat there again though!

    Glad it just wasnt me.

Our local Indian restaurant has just had a revamp. Wallpaper has not been hung correctly. If they cant get that right then what else cant they do properly. Wont be going back.

I seriously doubt the chef hung the wallpaper.

I can't decorate to save my life but I rate myself a good cook, my husband used to be a decorator and he can decorate but his cooking skills are worse than my 7 year olds.

I think its a dark brown teddy bear. Even with a magnifying glass, I'm not sure, but the ear shape is more like a stuffed toy than a live feline:p

Must have been the chambermaid's annual day off though (pic 17):D

If they had paid someone to put it up and it's on one straight wall then why not just get it put right?

It's not a takeaway, it's a restaurant, refurbished, even has a water feature. New chairs and tables and a feature wall with big blue half circles meeting a bottom half of big red squares.

Down from £330k in January, ouch!
I wonder if that has planning... it looks far too big in relation to the original house, & the render doesn't match the brick next door.

    OMG!!!
