"To Complete; Gas centrally heated and double-glazed throughout."
Someone needs an eye test! House hasn't had the windows touched since WW2!
Also wondering where the bit of the doubleglazing that's been done so far is - ie because it needs "completing" (so obviously a bit of it has been done according to the EA).
That "private garden" translates into = at the moment, but at some point in the future that industrial building that is looming over it is likely to be demolished and then be replaced by a couple of houses with windows that will look straight into the garden.0 -

It wouldn't be my choice of colour schemes but if I was given a 2 way choice between living in that house as is, or the same thing painted magnolia throughout, I'd choose the garish rainbow scheme.
Magnolia's only saving grace is it's easy to paint over with something less bland and boring.0 -

I rather like the look of it too, but would be attracted to the house because of the garden, whilst starting to work out just how much money I'd need to replaster/rewire/swop the kitchen. Yes, I noticed the woodchip wallpaper (and interpreted that "Been up for decades and that means no major electrical work has been done for decades) and outdated placement of a couple of power sockets.
If I was okay with a village house and finding the money for all that work though, it would be a house to seriously consider.0 -
