Nothing can affect Kent prices not even being 600Meters from Dungeness B power station, and that it looks like a shed.

The UK's wiring regulations make it very difficult to have a washing machine in a bathroom and be compliant with the regs'.
That's interesting - I have seen plenty of standard plug sockets in Eu house bathrooms, albeit generally not at low levels, sometimes very high up.
As far as I know there is no increased risk of people getting electrocuted abroad in bathrooms even with huge metal boxes in them. I wonder if our regs are over zealous, or just outdated from the days fuses were a piece of paperclip-thick wire?0 -

We are deemed to be ok, as our washing machine is in a separate utility room - but a Dutch friend is adamant that people with washing machines in their kitchens are 'beyond filthy'. Hers is in her bathroom.0 -

There is actually nothing wrong with this house in itself - I just hate it:o
Would anyone here describe this as their dream home?
Dream home would be pushing it but I do like it, I could happily live there.0 -

Garage/family room?
I suspect the literal translation is.. "Can't be seriously damaged by my daughter's/son's/ sister's/brother's/cousin's (delete as appropriate) badly-behaved brats when they visit."
That one also means "So far away it's almost in the neighbour's house. We've made no attempt to meet building regs, just lined the walls with black plastic (still visible) stuck up a frame and nailed some pallet wood to it.
"Watch out for splinters, brats!"0
