There is actually nothing wrong with this house in itself - I just hate it:o
Would anyone here describe this as their dream home?
I don't hate it, but its not my dream home. Just as well really, as I don't have £1m to buy it.Nothing can affect Kent prices not even being 600Meters from Dungeness B power station, and that it looks like a shed.

I'm a little weary today, so I knew it reminded me of something, but I could only come up with 'geodesic dome house.' Your description is much better!0 -

I quite like it. I like something a bit more interesting that the usual fare and this seems to have been a quality build.
I can see furniture placement could be tricky but it is spacious enough that I can't see it being too much of a problem. Considering it is over 30 years old I think it has dated very well0 -

Agreed the heating installation is terrible. But I really like the idea of boilers in the bathroom - generally the space in kitchens is far more valuable for storage than bathrooms so it makes a lot of sense. But then I've banged on in here about the whole "European" way of washing machines and boilers in bathrooms - oddly, where you take your clothes off rather than where you prepare food.0 -
The UK's wiring regulations make it very difficult to have a washing machine in a bathroom and be compliant with the regs'.0
