For those who'd like a house with a spacious downstairs and the kitchen inexplicably squished into the 3rd bedroom upstairs

....which does beg the question as to why they moved it upstairs in the first place, especially when you consider none of the 27 photos include the original downstairs kitchen (inexplicably labelled on the floorplan as 'hallway' despite the fact it doesn't have any rooms coming off it).0 -

I wonder if the kitchen downstairs was turned into a bathroom for an old person who couldn't manage the stairs, as the front downstairs room looks like it has bed-shaped marks on the carpet, and wardrobes. The bath may have been taken out, but they haven't spent money on a new kitchen.
(They haven't spent money replacing the original internal doors either.)
Upstairs a younger person who looked after them used Bedroom 1 as a lounge and Bedroom 2 as a bedroom, and did the cooking.
Bedroom 2 looks cosy - two electric heaters and the radiator. Perhaps the old person downstairs died of hypothermia. :eek:A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

Or the window frames for that matter (other than the ones in the extension), which are rather grotty wooden frames in desperate need of replacement, possibly the original ones. Most obvious in pic 21.0 -

Why would anyone replace the original doors (unless they were broken)?0 -

Because they've thrown money at the downstairs, but left the upstairs with some rather nasty cream paint.
I'd rather have original doors, but I wouldn't have thrown money at the downstairs.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

Errrr.... how are you supposed to watch that telly in the loft?!
Also, was a hoping for a red room of pain or whatever the hell it's called from that title. Most disappointed.
I'm not sure but I think it might swing down ie the bottom of the TV is currently at the top, thus making it viewable from the sofa.0 -
