I have chuckled at this thread for years and applaud you all for finding these how you do!
We are moving house next year and I am keeping an eye on houses in the area we are looking at and finally feel I can contribute to the thread!

Picture 5 - why would you not move it?
Agent has seen arty farty photos of other houses with features and wants to emulate them... I'm more confused by the photo of the cooker clock (pic 3).
And the fact they feel it necessary to mention that the central heating is controlled electronically is a little worrying.. how is it done elsewhere in Kidderminster? All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0 -
The carpet. The kitchen tiles.... this house has it all :rotfl:

The 1970's are calling - they want their style back.
But - at the right price - I'd take it and do my Rip Out Job Thing - as it's got a good setting/potential/reasonable size rooms from what I can see.0 -

Interesting use of outdoor space in pics 17/18.
But what happens when it rains?
Oh, silly me, of course it never rains in glorious Devon!:rotfl:0 -

They've been checking out Pinterest as to how to style the side return - and I bet I could say which one in particular gave them a bit of an idea. Errr....nope....it's nothing like in the same category as the bit bohemian side structure with pillars at the front actually that quite a lot of us like....:cool:0 -

What a great refurb! A real labour of love to seek out and fit appropriate utilities for the age of property.
Alarming to think that the purchaser may not have the same appreciation.0 -

:rotfl:Coming from the "Rip It Out" school of thought - I see what you mean - and I'd sell the kitchen personally (rather than just junk it - as I would with other kitchens). It looks in surprisingly good condition and there are people after kitchens like that these days.
But those windows. Why oh why did they do turquoise ones? Me - I didn't even realise a colour was possible......and errrm...they are aluminium ones (not sure I'd fancy that as a workable option....). Even for those of us that just "paint it all white" - most of us still have "pops of colour" - in my case it's red. Can't see turquoise windows going with that...

Love love love the kitchen. But it's a No from me for the windows. Even their decor clashes in the rooms other than the kitchen. Far too restrictive. Not sure why they didn;t go for turquoise on the outside and white on the inside.0
