Because it was placed there deliberately in an attempt to make a house that is essentially bland and unremarkable, slightly more memorable?

    The 'Mr Potato Head house.'

    See, it works. :)

Look at photo 8 - they should have put him in the garden....

:rotfl::rotfl: I do things like that. My friends know instantly which house I mean when I say "The Wreck". Well - it is - it's one that anyone in their right mind (even if with lower standards than I have) would surely instantly decide to demolish (literally....).

we did too - so much easier than trying to describe them or their location

I've posted stuff from this agent before regarding apartments in this property but I do enjoy reading them :)
    https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-54817272.html

However what strikes me about this particular apartment is, although it is a very grand hall, it takes up something like 40% of the total area! (please feel free to change my maths :))

My parents took my brother (then about 6) to a second viewing of a house, at which he piped up 'So *this* is the wallpaper you hate so much!' on seeing the hallway :rotfl:

I have chuckled at this thread for years and applaud you all for finding these how you do!

We are moving house next year and I am keeping an eye on houses in the area we are looking at and finally feel I can contribute to the thread!

    http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-72855815.html

Picture 5 - why would you not move it?

Agent has seen arty farty photos of other houses with features and wants to emulate them... I'm more confused by the photo of the cooker clock (pic 3).
And the fact they feel it necessary to mention that the central heating is controlled electronically is a little worrying.. how is it done elsewhere in Kidderminster?
