I'm gonna bite.... which is the junction and why?
A30?
Then, coming from Cowick Lane, I'm often unsure which lane to be in anyway.
Going home from the Sainsbury's petrol station is also very tricky due to there being 4 lanes full of backed-up traffic....and my lane is 3rd.
Finally, coming from the north on the A377 and wishing to turn right into Cowick Lane, the light delays seem wrong, so blink and you miss it, much to everyone else's annoyance. There's no filter light, as one might expect to cross oncoming lanes..
Mind you, I'm a country bumpkin. I get my own back when those city drivers venture out to where I am, if they dare!0 -
Fantastic bathroom, I especially love the office chair inclusion.

When I saw this one I thought, "What a messy dump!" but apparently I'm wrong.....

It's "A DELIGHTFULLY LOCATED DETACHED COTTAGE OF A VENACULAR DESIGN THAT HAS TO BE INSPECTED TO BE FULLY APPRECIATED, OFFERING ORIGINAL STYLED CHARACTERFUL ACCOMMODATION WITH MANY ORIGINAL FEATURES."
(Sorry about the agent shouting like that; he's also a horse auctioneer.)
One 'original styled' feature appears to be something to stop the toilet escaping from the bathroom, though it's arguably the nicest room in the place....
"In an enviable rural location...." Well, it was until the vendors polluted it.
Some intreresting detail for H&S buffs in this one too.
The trouble with these Welsh rural idylls is that they're often bought by the idle, who, after a few years, end up with something like this. Seen it often enough.
Aka the type of building I've been known to stand in front of for several minutes thinking:
"Is that meant to be a house? Oh....it is".
"Well - surely no-one is actually living in it?" "Oh .....someone is".0 -
Nah, A377 into Sainsburys from the south there's no right turn, so one has to go around the island bit and remember which lane to be in for that.
Mind you, I'm a country bumpkin. I get my own back when those city drivers venture out to where I am, if they dare!
Gotcha.....
Never come to Hemel Hempstead0 -

A truly hideous interior where every room is the definition of "fail"0 -

Just when you think you have seen it all and nothing could be worse you realise you haven't and it has.0 -
And the shot of the front of the house left until last.
For once that might be best but on the other hand, having been sold a certain style, albeit in rather cramped circumstances, is there anywhere that it is appropriate to show that this is actually a rather depressing and ugly terrace?
It wouldn't matter what you did to this house it is still going to be in Greenford. They needn't have bothered.0 -
Just how many lights are needed to see one's evening meal?
Like a number of things in this end terrace, a stone's throw from my least favourite road junction, the owners seem to have gone slightly OTT.

I'd say over-developed, though still no downstairs bog.
Picture 1 This has got the pub dining room carvery look about it. I didn't know there was a decorating style called pub interior but they have certainly mastered the look.0
