I agree it's a great location. Do you remember which house the couple bought? I was very interested in the programme as it showed 2 of the houses on my saved list. I'm not sure if they did buy the house in the end as it was still for sale for months afterwards.

I wouldn't like the location - road noise from the A3022, and grid-lock in the summer.

Are you moving into the area or are you already local? (ETA: I love a nose so if you're up for it, let us know your approx budget & requirements and we can all have a look for you;-) )

I'm both-local who's trying to return now I'm retired. Thanks very much for your offer-my family is already scouting for me!
Have to say I'm not impressed with the local Estate Agents who really haven't responded well to my enquiries!
Please feel free to PM me with any bargains!

Tell me about it! I moved back down 5 years ago and was shocked to discover that half of the EAs don't open at the weekend! It was really hard trying to view properties. (We rented in the end while we were looking).

Although I quite like it I think it would freak me out unless there was a window somewhere.

I would be way too claustrophobic in there

Renting is a possibility whilst finding somewhere to buy. My main problem though is trying to sell my house. I'm supposed to be downsizing but I think I'll end up with a house half the size and twice the price of my present one.

Do you have to be in the Brixham area (for family or whatever)? What about further inland?
