How on earth could anyone actually live in it? Id be fascinated to see it in person.

From a London POV, not much wrong with that house! There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0

It's unusual, but I like it - I think the whole extension has been quite cleverly planned to maximise the space added to the house.0 -

That one was up for sale a year or so back - and featured in national newspaper.
Wonder what happened that it's back on the market/still on the market? (maybe they're trying to charge too much for the "added features")?0 -

I agree it's a good extension.
I'd have put a door between the en-suite and dressing area because I'm old-fashioned. It's what we did.0 -

I think there are hidden depths to the photos you refer to, which work at a subliminal level.
The placing of the incinerator next to an iris foetidissima (or stinking iris) is representative of feng shui cleansing about to take place. The clever juxtaposition of the bins is obviously representative of the energies of yin and yang which flow through the property, neatly echoed by the gates behind.
....And if those influences aren't sufficient, there are plenty of twigs about the interior spaces as well. All bases covered. Can't fail.;)0 -

:rotfl:Considering they're certainly maintaining privacy within the house - every window with "privacy" stuff/a totally shut blind/etc - I think I might have stuck some tall plants in pots along that fence in photo 20. That would indicate "It is possible to block out the view of houses/light/etc to some extent".
Though, personally, knowing one of the first things I'd do would be to put some suitable tall plants in that garden border in that photo (ie for that reason) it's reminded me again there is definitely a market for well-grown plants/shrubs/trees about 8' - 10' tall and that won't grow much taller. Courtesy of all the British gardens that need summat there at boundaries for privacy purposes.0
