  • Well...splutter.....I just don't know what to say, apart from that this house should be preserved as a museum.
How on earth could anyone actually live in it? Id be fascinated to see it in person.

The information from the artist’s son is really moving, although given the unconventional gas central heating setup (which seems unlikely to have a gas safe certification...) I can’t help but think the lung disease which killed the artist might not be such a mystery...

I wonder if that's why the previous sale fell through - it was on here & also featured in at least one newspaper either last year or possibly even the year before.

I would guess the problem is that you couldn’t live with it, and you wouldn’t feel right pulling it all out.

I would have thought the best which could be hoped for was some kind of preservation but I don’t suppose his son has the means to do that (or wouldn’t be selling) and obviously he father wasn’t notable enough to attract ‘funding’ for such an endeavour.

In the end I expect someone will just rip it all out, which seems a shame, but then again i’m not offering him the cash to look after it either...

This one's an EA tease, and they're clearly hoping it will go for more than the asking price. Strange layout, but that new garage is crying out to be put to better use.....
Yes, it's more for cars than people - those bedrooms are tiny!

Got one them ...what you call it things?.......a horse house!

Haha, I've just been looking through my free copy of House Beautiful for April, and on page 54 there's this property, complete with mention of horse-house. They haven't managed to remove it from my copy!
