Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

Finding someone to appreciate their quirky stuff might be tricky.
Locating anyone who doesn't see the potential of setting fire to the place with a non-compliant wood burner could be even trickier!

The agent describes this property as rather 'quirky' and I would agree. Rather like it though

Love it, apart from the thatched roof. Looks like next door has tiles? Can't even find this bungalow on the road. All others look like they're tiled not thatch? Idiot owners thatched a modern bungalow? Doubt they'll find buyers particularly fast unless they've allowed for price of removing thatch. But who knows - I know nothing about Norfolk house prices.0 -

I agree that it's a lovely house, but that thatch is a massive fire hazard. Not with a bargepole.0 -

It reminds me of the approach to Hale Village which we drive through on our way to the Nature Reserve of Pickerings Pastures. Plus daughter lived there for a while, but in a slated roof Grade II listed building. As you approach the village you go past a load of my guess is 1930s houses that are thatched. Most of them have thatch that looks moldy, horrid and damp. But even so probably a fire hazard? I find that road rather creepy! It has something strange about it, Hale Village is fine, it's just the weirdo approach road makes me scared!0 -
On street view there is a white car parked on the verge outside. Taken a while ago I'd guess - the front door isn't painted.0
