Anyone work out what they are doing in the garden?
Why are they cutting the grass with a strimmer?
I must say I do like what they've done with the conservatory, I love the 'outside in' vibe.
Model railway? Model aircraft runway? Super heavy duty long washing lines so can run a laundry from house advertising "all washing dried outside in fresh clean breezes"?
Guess maybe a scythe would be more use than a strimmer... I'm afraid our lawn is in a similar condition.
As to the "outside in" vibe, similar to what we had in our first car. A Morris Traveller, we had lots of bracket fungus growing on the wood!0 -
They're putting up a new fence to section off half the garden and the extension, probably so they can demolish that, build something there and flog that too . That's why the agent has called it terraced, rather than semi-dee.
They're using a brushcutter because the grass is too long to cut with a standard mower.
You know Dave, you could be a detective in housing related crime!
I see now the other garden picture shows part of the fence up already, you cant see on the pictures but looking on street view that second plot is going to be pretty narrow."Meow meow meow? Meow meow-meow meow!" - Minkybob0 -

Half a million for that?0 -
Ah, that's why I called it a brushcutter. A strimmer is one of those wussy things for tidying the edge of the lawn, not laying waste large areas of scrub.ukmaggie45 wrote: »Guess maybe a scythe would be more use than a strimmer... I'm afraid our lawn is in a similar condition.
A brushcutter can make a reasonable job of grass, if the person operating it uses a little skill and patience.
Love the Morris Traveller comment!0 -

Why do the pictures on this float downwards? Made me feel quite sea sick. Surely not a good look for potential buyers?
Or is it just my browser (Chrome) doesn't like the settings from EA?0 -

It says in the description "Please note the adjoining single storey building to the right of the property is currently subject to a planning request to turn into a three bedroom family unit (with addition of a storey and roof). When work begins on this project the new owners of this property will benefit from a new roof and this clause will be contained in the sale contract"
I'd be surprised if anyone buys it before the building works are completed.0 -

think the second loo used to be an en-suite for the master bedroom but has been knocked in to one, possibly for mobility reasons.0
