Actually that was my very first thought about that house - ie how necessary it is to have a house exactly as one likes it and that is as big as possible precisely in order not to have to go out in a place like Grimsby any more than possible.

I guess there's a sort of inverse ratio of "The better the location itself is and the more like Home it feels = the worse standard one can get away with on the house itself" iyswim.

From a London point of view that's spectacular value. I'm pretty sure there's hotels down here smaller than that.

It looks like the kind of place where you'd have to buy new versions of everything you lose, as you'd never remember where you'd left it.:o

I don't think I've seen a modern house so badly planned. Picture 6 made me wince and feel the side of my head. And that bedroom is open to the rest of the house.

I've seen a few 'open plan' en-suites on here recently - here's one that is pretty much no more than a bed in a bathroom :rotfl:

Thats pretty bad. I liked this house until I discoverd it was an open plan bathroom / bedroom, but it has nothingon yours!
