Driving through St Thomas a couple of weeks ago, I snapped a picture of the 'green wall' on this property (We were stationary at the time!:p) but after posting it on another thread, I realised I'd been had. It's a fake, made with plastic plants. :(

Now I'm pleased to present the rest of this new build, some of which appears as ill-chosen as the 'living wall' made from dead stuff.

I don't think I've ever seen such a Marmite kitchen in a development. And !!!!!! happened to the finishing on the corner of the bath? Imagine catching your dangly bits as you limbo to the bog.....

No! On second thoughts, don't bother, because you wouldn't be buying this grey monstrosity........would you?

I love the kitchen. It's the first one I've seen for a long time that I don't think 'rip it out'.
Maybe because it is the same style as mine ;). Mine is white with black worktops in the kitchen area and black with white worktops in the utility area but the units look very similar.
I cant be doing with handles and sculpted doors or wood finishes in kitchens.

Slab doors are obviously in keeping with the urban feel, but there are less depressing options for colour, so with a developer's hat on, I think it was a mistake to reflect the exterior as strongly as they did.

Just rain; we do have it here.....and in that context I'd have designed-in a glass overhang, or similar, but it's all down to price, I suppose.

Haha, we drove past that house a couple of weeks ago and I said to DH "Wow, look at that living wall!" - I had no idea it was fake. But yeah, the rest of the house...

I agree. I don't like the colour. I was just pleased to see that someone else liked slab doors. :D

I don't mind the kitchen too much but that is a very poor layout for a new build.

It seems to me that sort of bedroom layout generally occurs when additions and alterations have led to no other options. Why you would opt for it when you have a blank slate I cannot imagine.

'Perfect for prosecco parties' is the weirdest EA line i've heard so far... especially when the suggested venue is not much more than a shed!
