As it is, expect coach loads to turn up expecting refreshments....
I once made the mistake of buying a black car of a type used a lot for taxis.

After the third person had climbed in and issued instructions as to where I should go, I thought that car and I would probably be having a short relationship. Once five drunks had persuaded me to drive them to an estate in a very dodgy area of Swindon, I knew it, for sure!

Why are you hanging around street corners in your car then? ;-)

I don't believe I mentioned any street corners.

The three single passengers climbed in at traffic lights and the drunks helped themselves when I went to collect someone from the pub.

To be honest, I only minded the drunks. The others were all pleasant enough and going roughly in the right direction for me.

None of them offered any money, but having been a taxi driver for a short time, that didn't entirely surprise me.

    Agree, it's blooming hideous

If spending £4m though you would most likely think nothing of ripping it all out and starting over. When DH was in interior design he did some work for people that had bought a very expensive, newly renovated house in Surrey. The first thing the builders were instructed to do was rip out a brand spanking Clive Christian kitchen (£100k+) and throw it in the skip!!! I'm still convinced the builders later spirited away and sold it on.......

  • what's with the blue lights in bathrooms? Seems to be a thing, I've seen it in a few showrooms recently. Its a very unflattering colour for skin tones.

I thought it was to deter intravenous drug users, something to do with being harder to see veins? So why do it at home?
