That would certainly be my dog's first thought - he would live in the pond! Unfortunately for me that means no ponds, otherwise I'll have a permanently wet, muddy and smelly pooch.0 -
Wow!!! Some Tree house (said tongue in cheek)

OK.... here's one near me. Lots of potential and probably not as good as it appears, but not flying off the shelf, so maybe scope to negotiate.;)

As soon as you want land above an acre, the quality of the house really starts to suffer in terms of value per £k. That one at least has plenty of room in it.Agricultural Tie - The property is subject to an agricultural occupancy condition as follows:
"The dwelling shall only be occupied by persons employed or last employed locally in agriculture as defined by Section 221 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1962 and the dependants of such persons as aforesaid."
SPCome on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -

House itself = lots of work to make it un-boring bog standard/change of fuel stuff to do/walls arent what I call "proper" walls by the look of it (ie they are concrete blocks - rather than bricks). I've learnt to spot signs of pipes going down the walls that "shouldnt be" probably means concrete block walls:(.
The views there are wonderful and the lazy agent hasn't even gone beyond the garden, but there's nothing wrong with the bungalow's construction, which is like hundreds of thousands of others here, and where you are too.
What fuel would you expect? Oil CH + wood burner is pretty standard in the countryside.StumpyPumpy wrote: »I suspect one major reason it is not flying off the shelf is contained in the paragraph: Agricultural Tie
5.24 acres seems a bit small to work into a profitable business though IANAF (I am not a farmer) and your silage may vary :rotfl:.

A chiminea and wood-burner in an all-wood house - is that a good idea?
Think that one counts as "niche market" - insurance? the stairs (inside and out) and then there are those of us that couldnt stand there looking out from a house that "height" without going wobbly-kneed and _pale_.0 -
Any bets on how many people have been living in this little house?
