Unless they are meaning February 2017 I'm guessing the.deadline passed without a sniff and another lazy agent that can't be bothered to update the details. Maybe a bit more effort over the photography might have helped too.
Well, it's AONB and well located, but they can keep their horrible chalk soil and an acre is not quite enough for equestrian + a decent garden.
I wasn't stunned.
I'd guess it needs considerable inward investment and maybe falls between stools, being either a very expensive building plot, or something that would be truly underwhelming for the price after essential remodelling.0 -

It's actually sloppy and inaccurate reporting, and obviously a nice bit of marketing by the auction house. Its guide price is a quid, and will make more than that because it's an auction. I guess it will sell for £5000-£10000 on May 18th.0

What a stunning bed! So glad they took the trouble to show it from two angles. Where do I sign?0 -

You mean there's something even worse than clay soil Dave?:rotfl:
But yes....the shortage of interior photos doesnt look too promising. I'm wondering about the purpose of that row of trees - as they are deciduous then they arent to block out some unwanted view/give more privacy and hence that's puzzling me a bit.0 -

But there's some arable, so probably not too bad.
The trees to the east don't protect the property from a view that other trees wouldn't also protect it from. More likely as windbreaks on bare downland.0 -

Though one thing I have seen before now is a rather attractive/decently-maintained house of the type that might be listed (I don't know if it actually was??) being totally demolished and then rebuilt exactly the same as it was before.
I wouldnt have known the difference personally - if I hadnt thought "Oh...that nice house has gone" and then seen it apparently re-appear a few months down the line.
I don't know what the circumstances were of this happening - so I guess there might be a possibility that local Councils just "might" be able to force an identical rebuild??
This has happened / is happening in Glasgow. A lovely cottage was 'demolished' overnight and is now being reported as having 'collapsed'.

No floor plan so I can't work it out - what have they done to end up with such a strange kitchen?

Edit - Have now found a listing from 12 months ago, and a window seems to have been blocked up

Looks like the same kitchen, just a different angle.0
