Overlooking a refuse transfer station the size of a large Tesco isn't my idea of heaven, but I guess it takes all sorts! :rotfl:
I think any potential heaven seekers should also read THIS before cashing in their pension to buy it.

The listing says "MUST VIEW TO APPRECIATE" but should also say "SUITABLE FOR ANOSMIACS ONLY"

Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.
  • That's me learnt something for the day.

Anosmia = loss of a sense of smell.

We are all capable of bering selective anosmiacs.

I know, because I live among fields where the traditional methods of fertilizing the land are still very much in favour.

After 2 days, you really don't notice.
  • Hmmm....possibly so.....but peoples views on things colour their feelings on them I would say and the same might apply there.

I could see how I could translate "farmyard smells" into = it's necessary for us to have food and by far the best for it to be grown organically and tune out those smells. But "other peoples rubbish" would be a whole different set of views and quite possibly not possible to "tune that out".

The same as people who do a lot of flying might be able to tune out Heathrow Airport as near neighbour - but those who won't fly on principle would be aggravated by it every second of every day iyswim.

What heinous creatures are being incubated in those pods (picture 6)?

Ah! Is that the full grown creature on the wall in picture 9?

It's pretty much the house I used to live in, shifted sideways about 100miles and bumped-up a few hundred £k, but I can't see anything odd about it. Garden looks promising.

I wondered how they'd got so many reception rooms in, until I realised the agent uses that term for the hallway and conservatory.

£700K for that! That's a £100K house in my area even after it has been modernised. I'm so pleased I don't live down south. :)

Unless they are meaning February 2017 I'm guessing the.deadline passed without a sniff and another lazy agent that can't be bothered to update the details. Maybe a bit more effort over the photography might have helped too.
