Looks like the same kitchen, just a different angle.

It is the same kitchen (flooring changed) but there is clearly no natural light coming in from where the window would be. Either a very efficient blind or the window is covered/blocked.

No floor plan so I can't work it out - what have they done to end up with such a strange kitchen?

Edit - Have now found a listing from 12 months ago, and a window seems to have been blocked up

Agree it's the same kitchen - but it's more the pillar arrangement that I was questioning. I can't believe that was the original layout, but can't work out what rooms they have knocked together or why!

It looks very dark and that pillar would drive me nuts :(:(

The garage door was a clue which led me to this one, which besides some distinctive decor and suggestions that the owners wear many hats, has a most peculiar layout. Connells warn the plan 'may not be representative of the property.'
Right... OK.... then perhaps the floorspace distribution is really more sensible than they've made it appear, eh? ;)

The rear garden is indeed large, but rather overlooked by an aerial walkway over the dual carriageway behind. This gives access to a veritable panoply of delights, a including multi-screen cinema, Mc Donalds and much more, although the entrance to this is frustratingly distant from the property itself.
A cherry picker in the garden would probably solve that at a stroke. :)

I think the pillar may be holding the ceiling up. Looks as if they have taken a wall out.

They're relatively new houses around there too (or maybe I'm now relatively old!) so any changes would be a bit drastic for a new estate.
